Software requirements
The following table lists software requirements and recommendations for an Engineer's Toolset for the Web installation.
- SolarWinds does not support installing Engineer's Toolset for the Web on domain controllers.
- SolarWinds neither recommends nor supports the installation of any Orion Platform product on the same server, or using the same database server, as a Research in Motion (RIM) Blackberry server.

Orion SQL database requirements
For best performance, you should install your SolarWinds Orion SQL database on a server that is separate from where you are installing Engineer's Toolset for the Web and any other Orion Platform products that you have.
